What is Direct Access Customization?β
When you share direct access with your end client, by default they see all features available on the platform:
- AI (Artificial Intelligence)
- Voice (Calls)
- Other features
With customization, you can control exactly which features each client will see, based on what they actually purchased.

How It Worksβ
There are two ways to customize direct access:
1οΈβ£ Global Configuration (Default Tabs)β
Sets the default for all new instances
2οΈβ£ Per-Instance Configurationβ
Customizes individually each instance
Method 1: Global Configuration (Default Tabs)β
When to use:β
- You have a sales standard (e.g., always sell WhatsApp only)
- Want to apply the same configuration to multiple instances
- Starting out and want to define a default
How to configure:β
Step 1: Access Settingsβ
- Log in to your Stevo account
- In the upper right corner, look for "Default Tabs"
- Click to open settings
Step 2: Select Featuresβ
Check only what you want to appear by default:
- WhatsApp - Main chat
- AI - Artificial Intelligence
- Voice - Voice calls
- Other features

- Click "Save"
- From now on, all new instances will use this configuration
Step 4: Generate Access Linkβ
- Enter any instance
- Generate the direct access link
- Share with your client

Method 2: Per-Instance Configurationβ
When to use:β
- Each client purchased a different package
- Want to customize individually
- Have specific needs per client
How to configure:β
Step 1: Reset Global Configuration (Optional)β
- If you want full control, go to "Default Tabs"
- Enable all options
- Save
This ensures you customize each instance manually.
Step 2: Enter Specific Instanceβ
- Access the instance of the client you want to customize
- Look for the instance settings
Step 3: Configure Visible Tabsβ
Inside the instance, select only what that specific client purchased:
Example: Client purchased only Voice + AI

- Click "Save"
- Wait for confirmation
Step 5: Generate New Linkβ
π¨ IMPORTANT: You MUST generate a NEW direct access link!
- Inside the instance, click "Generate Direct Access Link"
- A new link will be created with updated settings
- Share this new link with your client

If I change "Default Tabs", does it affect old instances?β
No. "Default Tabs" only affects new instances created after the change. Existing instances keep their individual settings.
Can I hide temporarily?β
Yes! Just disable the feature, save, and generate new link. When you want to re-enable, do the reverse process.
Can the client see hidden features?β
No. What you hide will be completely invisible to the end client.
Do I need to notify the client when I change?β
Recommended! If you enable new features (upgrade), communicate to the client. If disabling, also notify.
Does it work with custom URL?β
Yes! Tab customization works perfectly with custom domain.
What if I generate the link before configuring?β
The link will have the old settings. You must generate a new link after any change.
